Atlantic Offshore has passed three billion kroner in order backlog
Including options, backlog amounted to five billion NOK. The company is very satisfied with the situation. With such a backlog , we have established predictable portfolio of contracts. We will, however, follow the same strategy as we’ve had in the recent years, and expect that we eventually will order more new buildings, says CEO Roy Wareberg .
Four newbuildings will be delivered in In 2014, and more are under construction. Based on the order backlog, we have secured most of the revenue until 2018 .
We have a modern fleet that meets the most stringent requirements. The new buildings we deliver is a response to the specifications available from the contractors. This is possible when competing for long term contracts. A modern fleet helps us position ourselves, nationally and internationally. With the backlog as solid foundation , we are more likely to also be a part of the spot market, says Wareberg .
